If you are in to J-Pop, then Utada is no stranger to you. But if you have never heard of her, just remember the Kingdom Hearts video game series and you'll then recognize she sings the theme songs to those games. And don't that just because she sings J-Pop that she is originally from Japan. Although that is her ethnic heritage, this diva was raised in New York!
I liked Utada specifically from those two games. That's all I really heard. But the other day, I stumbled across this album and boy was I hooked. Some of my favorites are "Come Back to Me", "Apple and Cinnamon", "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence- FYI", "This One (Crying Like A Child)". It still has that Utada feel to it but it's the way I like it...sassy!
