The past week has been a tumultuous one. It has been filled with a mixed bag of emotions; sadness, grief, confusion, hope, celebration, despair, gladness. But in all things, God has a divine plan for it all. We can't see it now, but if we continue to believe, live our lives according to His word, His will, and His plan for us, we surely will be blessed and rewarded in the end.
With Lolo passing, I've searched for comfort. I've found it in my friends, my family, my loved ones, my partner, and in the Lord. But I have also found it in song.
Switchfoot created a song called "This Is Home" for the movie Prince Caspian. It is a song filled with hope and a reminder of God's promise to us. So enjoy this today, and always. May it bring you comfort in your trying times.
