Day off and double date!

I knew after my excruciating half marathon that I would be in physical pain. Which is why I planed ahead and took the day off! Woohoo! Got to love having lots of accrued vacation time.

I rested for awhile, but I thought it would be a good day to also spend some time with Mark. I drove up and had lunch together. Those rice bowls from The Flame Broiler are soooooo delicious! We spent a good portion of the work day just hanging out, and I got to see him in his work element.

Later that night, we met up with some of his friends, and had a double date. It was a great time to spend some time with his friends and get to know them. Lots of window shopping and taking pictures that's for sure! We then headed on out to Mark and I's favorite restaurant ever....Ichiban for some sushi! The White Roll is the best!

Everyday gets better and better for us. But it isn't free from struggles and hardships. There are times of doubt that still creep up, episodes of insecurities, times of sadness, and bouts of anger. But it also does have it's fair share of good times and wonderful memories. Each day is a journey, sometimes the path is clear, sometimes it is faced with road blocks. But the fact remains that we will do it together. One day at a time.
