When it rains, it pours

Today was a tumultuous day!  Not only was in raining, it was a holiday and so not many people went to work.  I unfortunately was one of those people who had to work.

Grrr!!!

But tumultuous is a term that describes these times too gently!  The ocean is roaring mad and it's taking out everything in its wake and leveling out the playing field.  Today my supervisor was fired.  WOW!  We were all shocked at the office.  And to top it all off, my friend Roy got fired today too!

There are so many layoffs going on.  My cousin was let go awhile ago, a co-workers husband was laid off, our CEO and CFO of our office retired and ventured off to new endeavours.  Times are getting scary and continue to get scary.
